Video Games and Life

The world has moved a great distance from the days of pong to the extravagant world of Call of Duty. Just as that little ball moved back and forth across the screen kept the people who were destined to be the gamers of the future mesmerized the same world follows the intricate workings of the zombies that continue to crawl out of the wood work.

We will travel the distance from that first pong ball through the maze of PacMan and jump with Mario as he searches for the Princess, but we won’t stop there. Our travels will encompass the entire Universe as Halo blasts from game consoles across the planet and Call of Duty gamers scream to their clan partners in the countless matches that goes on in a days time.

In this same travel we will consider why there are some of us that feel Freddy kicks Jason’ ass or maybe you are a Michael Myers fanatic. Whichever one you are most inclined to follow we will walk that journey with you. Screaming as Michael once again appears out of no where. Even though we know that he has lived for many years without a job and still has electricity.

But all of that is irrelevant as we know he will just pop out of no where and kill the main player in the movie, yet again. Rules do not apply in this world of horror, just as it doesn’t always apply in the gaming world. This is a new frontier. All we know as game fanatics is that why do we need to get a life?

We have lots of lives.
